Timeline

A timeline of drone racing, row by row, with the source for each.

Every row below comes from the sources used across the History section. The second column says what the row is about: a racing body or organiser, equipment, an association, or the law of one named jurisdiction. Where sources disagree about a date, the row gives each version; rows marked unconfirmed rest on a single secondary source or a search summary of a page that could not be opened.

The timeline is split into four tables by period. "Racing" rows are events not run by one of the named bodies. Law rows name their jurisdiction, and association rows (AMA, FPV UK, MAAA) are labelled as associations, not law. Results of different bodies are never combined. The story behind each row is on the pages linked from the History index.
