Watching

Watching drone racing: what each organiser says about its own streams.

No named television broadcaster was found for any 2025 or 2026 FAI or MultiGP drone racing event. The organisers point to their own YouTube channels, livestream pages and social accounts instead, and this page records what each said, and when.

Streams move from platform to platform and from event to event, so this page names only what each organiser said about a particular event, with its date, and does not link to individual streams. For a coming event, the organiser's own channel is the place it says it will publish. Nothing here is a schedule, and no prices or subscriptions are given.

The FAI

  • The World Games 2025, Chengdu: on 6 August 2025 the FAI pointed viewers to the livestream on The World Games' live site, in its air sports section, with FAI updates on its website, Facebook and Instagram under the hashtags #TWG2025 and #airsports. The FAI's World Games page still lists livestream replays. Earlier, on 28 May 2025, the FAI said the drone racing would be broadcast globally, without naming a broadcaster.
  • World Drone Racing Championship 2024, Hangzhou: the FAI's preview of 29 October 2024 promised a livestream link and directed followers to the FAI's Facebook, Instagram, X and Flickr pages and to the event website. It named no streaming platform.
  • Video and photo archive: the FAI's drone sports page links an FAI YouTube playlist and a Flickr photo collection for drone sports.
  • World Cup 2026, Ningbo round: Xinhua reported on 30 May 2026 that the venue had a live broadcast system, but named no broadcaster or platform.

The FAI e-Drone Racing World Cup

The FAI's simulator series is streamed online. For 2024, the FAI says the second part of the Hangzhou event, on 10 November 2024, was livestreamed with an English-language commentator on the FAI's YouTube channel and on its simulator partner's YouTube and Twitch channels. For 2025, the FAI said on 6 August 2025 that the first event, on 16 August, would be streamed on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube and the partner's website from 13:00 UTC.

MultiGP

  • Championship 2026, Carrollton, Texas (15 to 17 October): MultiGP's event page gave the livestream as its own YouTube channel.
  • European Championship 2026, Aichtal (11 to 13 September): MultiGP's event page links a YouTube live stream.
  • International Open 2026, Muncie (10 to 14 June): a search summary says MultiGP's site navigation listed an "IO26 Live Stream" link; the address was not seen, so this is unconfirmed. An older, undated MultiGP page, also seen only as a search summary, says viewers can watch its livestream live or later on its YouTube channel.

MultiGP's "World Cup" and "European Championship" are MultiGP events, not FAI events; see MultiGP championships.

The Drone Champions League

The DCL publishes each Cup as a series of YouTube Premieres on its official channel. Its season review of 29 December 2025 says the 2025 Cups went out twice a week and that the 2025 Super Final also premiered on YouTube. For 2026, the DCL says the Falcon Cup finals premiered there on 12 July 2026, and it set the Eagle Cup qualification premieres for Tuesdays and Fridays at 18:00 UTC, with the finals on 20 September 2026 at 20:00 UTC. See the Drone Champions League.

The Games of the Future 2025

The organiser's report of 22 December 2025 points to replays and highlights on its own streaming hub, and to its own results service, for the Phygital Drone Racing at Abu Dhabi.

The Drone Racing League

For the DRL's planned Miami event of 1 February 2025, The Drone Girl reported that the DRL expected an online stream and cited a global broadcast reach through sports networks and streaming distributors. No DRL broadcast in 2025 or 2026 could be confirmed, and whether that event took place is itself disputed; see the Drone Racing League.

In earlier seasons, Wikipedia lists the DRL's broadcast partners as including NBC, NBC Sports, Sky Sports, ProSiebenSat.1 and FOX Sports Asia, with ESPN and Disney XD earlier. Sports Illustrated reported that the final nine episodes of the DRL's fall 2016 season began airing on ESPN and ESPN2 on 23 October 2016. These are history, not a current schedule.
